We had a lovely stay at the hotel to visit our first rugby international. The hotel was well situated close to the city centre, good restaurants and the rugby ground. The room was ideal and the owner was very attentive to our needs. The breakfast in morning was excellent giving you a good start to the day. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for good 5* accommodation.

The accommodation & the owners were really welcoming and lovely. Ian did everything he could to help us out above & beyond what was expected. It was a lovely introduction to Scotland & Scottish hospitality. Attention to detail & extras were very notable.

The hotel is well situated for buses to the city centre. The breakfast is excellent, the staff friendly, the room spotless and as a single woman I was made most welcome and felt very comfortable there.

Amazing attention to detail by the hosts - they give you advice on where to go, and what to do. They also cook free breakfast for you each morning. Rooms were great as well. A great hotel.
Only potential negative is the location - it's not in central Edinburgh. Though it is a 10 minute walk to Haymarket train station, so I took the train from there to Stirling for a day trip. And you can take the bus into the center of Edinburgh very easily.

the appartment was a small house, with great comfort, very clean, in a very quiet area, with a Private parking place. It is close to the center, the airport and the bridge to move north towards st andrews. The owners are very helpful.
When you are in the appartment and not within the hotel, you get a great continental breakfast but there is no possibility to switch it for the famous scottish breakfast

Comfortable room, relatively small but very clean with tastefully designed interior and free WiFi. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Good public transport connections to Edinburgh city and airport. Very good value for money.
Only a minor topic: a little shelf in the bathroom would be helpful.

The hotel was a tranquil place where attention to detail was obvious, from the confirmation email, to the greeting on arrival, bedroom and breakfast. We were very impressed with the high standard of decor and the attention to detail. Great location, excellent all round.
No, it was as we expected, only better.

Staff/Owners were friendly and made you feel very welcome. Always happy to assist if extra things were required and to provide information on local facilities, transport and sight seeing. Room was always clean and tidy as was the rest of the accommodation and food was excellent. Accommodation very handy for sightseeing Edingburgh city - bus service is very good, would not recommend a car at this time due to works in the city centre if only needing to access the city itself. Would certainly return for another visit. Would certainly return for another visit.
